The red highlights really stand out in an otherwise somewhat colourless setting. The red also draw attention to the players. Nice.

the spots of red are stunning! I love the way the red chair back is clear on one side and then another bit of chair is peeking out on the other side

It really is wonderful how the read gives interest to the sort of otherwise gray scene. There are two red chairs there too besides the clothing. Interesting shot.

Of course I didn't have the sense to click on the photo until after I commented... I just love the game with the fruit as chess pieces. Too clever. You would think it might be confusing to play that way - but then playing with every peice looking the same must be a challenge too.
