Intimate river waiting

I
know
that an
intimate
river is waiting
somewhere to carry me along
infinitely. Where
is that boat,
that oar
it
takes?

– Leonard Blumfeld ( © 2008 )

Written with intimate, river and waiting as ingredients and inspiration from 3WW in the form of a fibonacci diamond.

I'm trying to decide if indefinitely is a happy word in this... or depressing? At least, in regards to the "after" part of the story. I'm thinking happy.

The key. Wistful, wishful, whimsical. I like the image you bring to this piece.

I like that you chose to reinforce the feel of the river by using this form. It really worked well.

There is a Peter Doig painting this would be a great accompaniment for, this little gem. Do you know his work? G and GEM
